- I'm currently staying in a hotel in Sector 16 and the place is in the middle of one of the busiest streets in Noida! Yesterday at 12 in the night, the place was abuzz with activity!
- The food! Tandoori stalls open up on my street in the evening, with a lot of marinated chicken hanging on long sticks. Yum! The stalls put up chairs and tables on the sidewalk and we're ready to eat!
- Savoy Suites. It's a hotel near mine. Too expensive for me to stay in. But they have some awesome restaurants. "Chor Bizarre" serves Indian cuisine while "Oriental Octopus" serves 8 oriental cuisines. Try the Indian cocktails and the Oriental food. Absolutely mind blowing!
- The heat. It's crazy hot during the day.
- All men will stare at you. All of them. Some will whistle, some will sing while passing by. You cannot be left alone.
- Saw a dog get run over by a bus and die in front of my eyes as I tried calling an animal ambulance. The dog died within 2 minutes. It was one of the worst things I've ever seen.
- So I was crossing the road, waiting for a car to pass by. But the car slowed down and stopped right next to me. It was afternoon and amazingly hot. I was sweating real bad. I still waited for the car to pass. Instead, the window rolled down showing two Punjabi boys inside. Probably 20 -23 years old. The one on my side, says "Itni garmi mein??". I ignore him and tap on my phone while looking sideways. But the car doesn't move. He's actually expecting an answer! So I say, "Haan!". And he goes, "Hai meri jaaaannnn!" and drives away! He just waited to have this totally pointless conversation!
